I live in cohousing. Since it's summer, some of my neighbors and I organized a "camp" where the adults take turns supervising (and resting). Today was my turn to be in charge. This provided me with a great opportunity to bake with the kids and to employ their expertise. And wow. They are honest. A few brave souls informed me that the Astral Apple Muffins were pretty good but had WAY too much nutmeg. Thanks guys! I am so lukcy to be able to run my recipes past such a discerning group prior to publication of "An Alien Robot's Cookbook. (2nd edition). I see new and improved baked goods in your future.
Sometimes it's just too darn hot to bake. That said, soaring temperatures don't always stop me from wanting to make (and eat) something sweet. When this challenging combination occurs, I pull out this recipe. It's from my upcoming book, "An Alien Robot's Cookbook." Enjoy and stay cool.

Shape into small balls. Roll each ball into the coconut flakes or nuts (or both). LEVEL 1: EASY * And if you're interested in learning more about the book, please shoot me an email.
